Mission Statement
The Doctors and Staff of Zeeb Pet Health Center are dedicated to providing the best possible care for pets and service to our clients. We use progressive methods, procedures and technologies while showing compassion and respect to both owners and pets. Our goal is to educate pet owners in total pet wellness. In the process of delivering excellent professional service, quality products and valuable information to our clients, Zeeb Pet Health Center will provide an environment of challenge, personal growth and camaraderie for the hospital's team members. In the accomplishment of our mission, a fair return to the hospital and its team members will be realized.

including, Lansing, St. Johns & Bath. It is the
most recent service introduced through the Zeeb Pet
Health Center. Three Shears for Pets has its
own entrance located on the South West corner of our building and acts
independently of Zeeb Pet Health Center but shares in its rich tradition of
superior customer service!
Three Shears
for Pets provides pet grooming and bathing for all breeds of dogs and cats.
Owners may choose a traditional trim in accordance with breed standards or
elect a "custom cut" for their pet's comfort. Three Shears for Pets operates by appointment
(currently being made through the Zeeb Pet Health Center) at
669-2641. Drop-off service is available starting at 7:00 a.m. M-F.

Policy
Vaccinations:
In an effort to keep your pet and other pets that visit THREE SHEARS FOR PETS healthy the following vaccination policy will be strictly followed.
1. Owners must provide written proof or a receipt from their
veterinarian, (at the time the pet is presented for grooming) that a veterinarian has
administered the following immunizations and that they are
"current". Dogs: Distemper-Parvo complex (a.k.a. Pneumonia
& Diarrhea Prevention), Rabies and Kennel Cough. Cats: Upper
Respiratory Complex and Rabies.
2. In the event that the vaccination status cannot be
verified at the time of the groom, the pet will undergo a Comprehensive
Physical Examination by a veterinarian and if judged in good health will
receive the appropriate vaccinations. The cost of such procedures will be
the responsibility of the pet's Owner. Not until the pet has been brought
up to date on the required vaccination(s) will it be groomed.
3. Should the Pet's Owner provide written proof of
veterinary immunization within 72 hours the corresponding Comprehensive
Physical Examination and vaccination fee(s) will be promptly refunded.
Complimentary
"Pet Health Physical Assessment"
All pets presented for grooming will receive a Complimentary "Pet
Health Physical Assessment". A THREE SHEARS FOR PETS staff member will perform the assessment (pet
willing) at NO charge to the owner. This is a cursory review of the outward
appearance of the pet. A copy of the "Pet Health Physical
Assessment" and all of the findings will be sent home with the owner at
the time of pick-up.
The Complimentary "Pet Health Physical Assessment” is done in
the presence of the owner at the time of presentation. It is designed to
identify obvious physical problems that may be affecting the pet's quality of
life. The owner has the option to have a veterinarian do a complete
examination while the pet is at the grooming facility (there will be a Physical
Examination charge for this service), present the findings to their regular
veterinarian for appropriate care or schedule an appointment for a more
convenient time.
The "Pet Health Physical Assessment" includes a review of the,
General Appearance, Demeanor, Eyes, Ears, Mouth/Nose and Skin/Hair-coat.
